Active between 1993-1999 and primarily organized by Kevin Hanley and Jonathan Kroll, Microinternational included Kai Althoff, Casey Cook, Francesca Gabbiani, Michael Krebber, Anja Medved, Carlos Mollura, Dave Muller, Frances Stark, Jennifer Steinkamp, and Cosima von Bonin among its many participants. This book chronicles an otherwise forgotten “art group” and their projects within the nascent art scene of 90s Los Angeles.
