Towards Nothing addresses the relationship between the known and unknown. The topic is treated with playfulness, methods alternating between poetic observations and analytical conceptualism. In Towards Nothing Mikko Rikala aims to observe familiar things and phenomenons in the light of the unknown. Different temporal realities run parallel throughout the book, questioning the rational cause-and-effect relationship and making relativity of time tangible.
